Looking for a Skid Plate for my L300

The mounting brackets are different between an auto and a 5spd. You would need to cut, bend, drill the skit plate to fit on a manual. Maybe "Pedro" can explain it a little bit more in depth, he did the modification on his 5spd.

The reason it won't' fit a 5 speed is that the bottom "lip" guiding the air into the rad is different ...It could be done though. Just have to make a little adapter bracket of some sort.

the price i would keep the same 170 per plate. Even if aluminum has gone up.........no big deal.

No need to apologize... been there and done that... me time IS rare at that stage... I just was not sure if I sent the PM correctly... Its all good... looking forward to the piece of mind of not being worried every time I drive through water and rocks...

If it could be done i would be very interested. Would a L300 LHD plate be identical to a RHD one + I have no bullbar? ... still have to find a cheap courrier though.

I'm in on this too please!! I don't care whether its smooth or checker plate as long as its strong. Although if it is smooth I can see myself spending hours polishing it every couple of weeks just because I'm retarded like that!

My first choice would be smooth... That would be a different look...
