That was one of the things I was wondering about. It seems pretty labour intensive. When I sent an email about the lift I was told it was between 4 and 6 inches but it looked more like a 3" lift. I think I'll keep shopping around. I can't afford to buy yet and it seems that the cheap Deli lift will soon be a thing of the past.

Got 33's X 12.5 on mine with a 5 inch lift!
But you all knew that.

And yup, they're all right, going past 3 inches bring lotsa head aches

He's out to lunch (current seller parting it out). It's a 2" lift. I should know as I installed it when I owned it. Christmas is around the corner. Shoot me a pm and I'll put one aside for the new year for you.

Any opinions on these rims? I appears from my research that the lower the offset the more the wheel sticks out which in turn would provide a wider stance? Assuming this would I be correct in saying that the 2 rims with an offset just over 3" would be the better of the 3, or do I have that backwards? Assuming that these will even work, which would the informed people suggest?

The max backspacing you want it 3.75" inches on a 15x8 rim. With this rim and a 10.5" wide tire you may not be able to open your sliding door all the way.

The best option is to get a 7" wide tire with 3.75" backspacing. That is the ideal setup.

Good to know, I'm trying to source some 'extenders' and flares for the sliding door and arches so that I can have the wheels stick out as much as possible. Is the 3.75 max backspacing due to torque or fit? I can't seem to find a diagram that explains this very well, I might have to bug someone at the next meet.

I'll stick with your recommendations then. More wear in never a good thing.

Hi, just about to get a 2" lift kit installed next week. My existing rims are 15"x7" and if I measured correctly the offset is 4 3/4".
Will that offset still allow me to install 31x10.5x15 duratracks or will they rub on the inside of the tire? I've read that 3 3/4" is the minimum back offset, whats the max?

I haven't tested 4.75" backspacing on a 7" wide rim with 10.5" wide tire.

You won't know if it rubs unless you fit it.

I know on an L300 10.5" tires on the stock 6.5" rim does run the upper control arm on the inside of the tire. I believe the stock rim is 4.25" backspacing.

Do 31" tires decrease RPMS on hills or is it tougher to push the big rubber?
