It fizzled out. Propane injection is where it's at.

Read through this thread and noticed a few people planning to do this install on a 2.8L Pajero. Did anyone do that and what was the experience? I'd have to say that the reading I've done here seems to suggest the benefits aren't huge and most people are kind of bummed by the experience. I'm interested in doing something with my Paj especially since I put on 33's and lost some power. I'll have to search around for a thread on propane injection as the latest comment here suggests that's the new cool.

if you are spinning 33's, the best bet is get pull the gears from a 5-spd Pajero with 2.5. They have the 5.29 diff gears that are perfect when mated with 33's. You will hit two birds with one stone. Get your power back and have a lower crawl ratio in 4H/4L.
Here's the propane injection threads :

problem is going to be the tank location...
this coming week i will have Jon's delica over the pit so i will do some measurements to see what tank will fit and where...
cheers

You can mount either tank under the rear where the spare tire is if you're worried about location.
Here is the link to the propane injection system I was referring to :
http://injectionperformance.com/store.htm
It's called the Powershot 2000 and has been around for a long time. It has a proven track record and is considered to be the best PI system and the safest.
It's $650 and you just need to install the tank.
I wouldn't trust an eBay special although it may be just fine.
I know about the Powershot sys and have seen it in action on two vehicles (above) running for over 240,000 combined km's and going strong.
