I don't need a cab gauge, but it would be nice to have something rigged up so that it will switch back to diesel automatically when it's almost out of veg, hopefully simpler than a sender...

Without a sender and gauge that is going to be pretty hard. Best thing to do is not let it run down past 1/6 of a tank. It shouldn't be a problem in my eyes unless you are driving for a continuous long trip then again you can figure where you tank is based on the distance you have travelled. For example in my toyota surf I get ~10 km per Liter so with putting 80 liters in the tank the math is easy.

Yeah, normally it shouldn't be any problem, but long trips, who knows - with hills and off-road fuel economy can vary a lot... I was thinking of something like the wet-sensor in the diesel tanks that lights up the low fuel light... but that's something I can upgrade on my own once these kits are ready!

Thanks Jesse. I love it but its got to go, the family doesn't fit in it and I am not allowed to have any toys for myself.
Do you know anyone who wants to buy my JEEP I will give a $500 finders fee if you can find somebody close to my asking price.

Not only am I interested in installing a set up for WVO in my future Delica (currently looking for a Chamonix), but I would be interested at retailing it at the Vancouver Bidiesel Coop at 360 Industrial in Vancouver (Recycling Alternative). We are officially launching tomorrow with our new B100 biodiesel (sourced from recycled waste) tank and cardlock system. Hope you can join us between 12-4pm for BBQ, door prizes and celebrations. Fun for the whole family and show off yer Delicas!!

bolt in tank is done!!! well just about, need to trim the threaded bar back a little so it doesn't hang down.
20 gallons will little room a larger tank. Will take customers about 2-3 hours to do the tank install and less if you have air tools. Only tools that are required are sockets/wrench and a drill, (need to drill two holes).
Jesse this tank is 18.5" deep, not sure how you are going to fit the 23"er you have...This tank is about an inch from the e-brake cables on the rear axle and pushed pretty far back to the rear too.
I am picking up all the valves tomorrow and the filters are still on order, should have them this week.
Anyone know where to find filler housings/caps????

Looks good! What's the verdict on exhaust? I can't really see in these pictures what's going on in that department on this van.

Seems like it would be better to have the deeper tank and then angle the bottom up as it got close to the back of the van, could get much more volume and not sacrifice the departure angle much or at all. But then again, I don't weld or make tanks so that could, for all I know, make the cost/time to prohibitive?

Not a bad idea, that's what Shayne (
steepcreeker on the forum) went with and it gave him 114L capacity. I might go that route myself, after we build our house.....
