Alaska

Post by josh »

Just did a fun four day weekend jaunt into Hyder Alaska. It was sweet. I was the first official journey that I did 100% on WVO. Man did it feel great. I went with a couple friends who have a synchro, and they were starving by the time we rolled up (due to the french fry smell wafting in thier window the whole trip). Anyhow, we got to see grizzlies feeding on the spawning salmon, a huge icefield, and... well it was a great holiday.

Anyhow, it was a fun trip even though there were no other delicas to be seen... I have been trying to convince my friends with the syncro to sell it and get one, but no dice. I hands down prefer the delica, but the syncro is pretty slick too.

Sweet looking trip. Have you still got your WVO tank inside your rig, or were you able to mount it outside?

The tank is still inside, and I also took a few jerry cans full of WVO, roughed in a bed platform over top of it all, and was set to go. I am waiting to save some more money before I make a new tank.
