Nice ride, real sharp. You are living in PR? Sweet... Rose and I are probably going to spin over there in a weekend or two... its refreshing to be on the water again for a bit. We are just in Smithers. We will have to meet up.

PR? I live in PR.

Nice ride, congrats; grey and black is the best! It's way to shiny for a PR rig.

Renny,

Totally keep me posted. Maybe I'll have do drive to rupert with you... the more excuses for road trips the better. Now that I do not have to pay for fuel anymore.

Safari on a Mac works well too--just one of the reasons I got rid of my Windows machine.

8-) Rad van, where did you get it from, I am currently looking in to buying my second delica, (I had to sell mine this winter due to an injury from work which took me out for 8 months!) I was not to impressed with the experience I had with the importer I dealt with with my first van and am looking for a good place to get my second one from...looks like you got yourself a clean unit, congrats! J paul, I think we are neighbors, I live on triangle montain on sunheights, I see you at the intersection of vet memorial and sooke road a lot, when I get another van, perhaps we could meet and exchange experiences, where did you get yours? Cheers people, I sure miss my Deli, especially when I see you guys driving around town everywere I go! Cheers!

Salut Surferboy,

Good to see you're on the hunt for another Delica! Are you gonna try to import it yourself (and/or via a broker) or try to find one locally? Since you first bought yours I'm sure there's so much more available locally, very tempting!

If you don't mind a little trip on the mainland to pick up a van send me a PM and I can try to help out...

A plus tard,

Merci mon ami! appreciate the offer, you have a good contact? I was thinking of max overdrive, Marty have seamed to be a helpfull honest guy on this forum since it has started and he seam to be importing good clean units at a reasonable price, I am just waiting for exactly what I want as I am not yet in a rush to buy.. mine had a lot of little quirks that ended up being time and money consuming to resolve and it ended up driving me nuts! I sunk almost three grand in it over the 2 years I had it and I still was looking at another grand worth of stuff to fix/upgrade.. I got fed up and so did my bank account, I lost faith in the reliability of those vans at that time.. Now I realise that no matter how hard I try to find another vehicle that offers the same features as the deli, nothing out there seem to match it! It just is the perfect vehicle for my lifestyle until i get rich (maybe in another life!) and am able to afford a camperised quigley conversion of a full size van like a 4X4 ford F150...just imagine the cost of fuel alone! the conversion itself is like 30 grand!! ...I don't think so! the delica is the way to go for now! any suggestions as of where to buy from or personal experiences good and bad people, don't hesitate to PM me! Cheers! :-D
