My friend has an older Eagle Summit with auto tranny.
I figured, it's also a mitsu, so maby someone knows about them.
No matter which position the shifter is in, nothing happens. The tranny does not engage.
He sais the tranny was rebuilt 30K kms ago, so most probably it's not something super tragic and final..
HE seems to think there is a solenoid which is supposed to engage when the shifter gets put into gear.
Does that sound right?

Try simple things first; check the shift linkage. Make sure the linkage is actually moving the selector on the transmission.
Whenever On-Road and off-road; on duty and off duty, it is DELICA Moment. -CMC
