Tossing it out there if someone is parting a unit out here or in the process of filling a container with goodies from japan.

It looks good but it needs to be re-primed and painted. The mounting requires 4 holes in the tailgate. The seller is on our forum.

Does this perform any function? Or is it cosmetic?

Re: WTB: L400 High Roof Spoiler
On the L300 it keeps one's rear windscreen clean of dirt, snow, &c., I presume it does the same on the L400.DeliTan wrote:Does this perform any function? Or is it cosmetic?

Re: WTB: L400 High Roof Spoiler
Well its been almost a month since I ordered the spoiler from Delicar300. Nothing has arrived and I have not received any email that it has even shipped (ebay auction indicated that a tracking number would be provided). And I am getting no responses to any emails sent to him. grrr.

Re: WTB: L400 High Roof Spoiler
It took me over a month to get mine and I had the same communications issues but eventually I got an email with a tracking number. If you read the feedback section on ebay you will find out that you are not alone.

Re: WTB: L400 High Roof Spoiler
Its serves no purpose it purely cosmetic. If its designed to keep mud off your back window then mine must be defective.

Re: WTB: L400 High Roof Spoiler
I have read post says that the rear spoiler keeps the rear window clean due to the air flow effect. I used to have a VW scciroco ( forget which year.,newer type ), it came with a similar rear spoiler and it kept the rear window super clean. So I think it may be the case of the L400 rear spoiler too.

Yes, it does keep the rear window relatively clean. Psilosin, did you finally get your spoiler? Mine looks great installed.

Re: WTB: L400 High Roof Spoiler
Woo that does look great. Yes mine did show up eventually and it looks quite nice for the price. I just haven't had time to get around to do anythin with it yet.Profister wrote:Yes, it does keep the rear window relatively clean. Psilosin, did you finally get your spoiler? Any close up pics of the install? Looks like 2 screws from the top into the hatch while the other 2 are opposite, from inside the hatch to the spoiler? Did you use any material (3m tape or rubber, etc) between the spoiler and the hatch? Were you able to find off teh shelf paint that was close enough colour wise or did you have it professionally painted and colour matched?
