About 2 weeks ago my transmission oil cooler developed a corrosion hole and spewed fluid all over. I could not find a direct replacement and did not want to chance a used one. Here is a link to what I found on eBay (
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/330593242790?ssP ... 1439.l2649) which was almost a 100% match of the original and just required some creative mounting (see attached pictures).

Were you able to raise it up further as well when you were mounting it?

Due to the changed mounting for the new cooler, it now sits about 1 inch higher above the 'shield' which should protect it a little more from small rocks. If one wanted the back end could be tilted up further as there is quite a bit of space on the back side (there is nothing on the front). Not sure you would want to do that as it would affect cooling. For serious off-roading one would want to relocate it completely.

Nice post Details Monster! Looks like I'm about to do this as my cooler is corroding away. Luckily the ebay seller still sells these.
Where did you get the brass fittings and hose if you don't mind me asking?
Cheers
