L400 has two heater cores???

Post by joedelica »

I was advised that there is one behind the glove box and one behind the driver's seat on the wall for the rear system?
Does anyone know if it is common for the rear one to leak or fail? I am looking to replace my front one with a used one as there are no new core's here in Canada.

To the dealers offering service, since the leaks appears to be common with the L400, maybe someone should order a few from Japan to keep in stock as there are a few members that need to replace their's at present.

Cheers,

Joe

Yes, there are two heater cores ( front MR206321, rear MR233116 ).
we had one customer who had a front heater core leaking problem so far, we are getting these from Mitsubishi Japan in near future.

Front core is common to leak as per the Oz/UK owners. Rear, not so much.

You pay a premium at Rocky Mountain but you get fast service.
