Hey guys, it seems as though my headlight sprayer switch is faulty. My headlight sprayers lately activate right when i turn headlights on (even though the stalk button is out). do these ever spray automatically? does anyone know which fuse the sprayers are?

Any help is appreciated, TIA.

The headlight washers are activated when the headlights are turned on and the button pushed(at least that is the theory, of the four Paj at the meet last night three had headlight washers that did not work and the 4th Paj did not have washers) Sorry I can`t help with the fuses, your problem is unique, most don`t work and yours work when you don`t want them to

Washers should be activated by button when headlights are on.
They worked fine on my first Pajero and on second too untill that meet up

Switch stuck? Button may be out but contact is still making contact. You can spray contact cleaner into the end of the switch and it may loosen the contacts up. The spray is alcohol based and will not damage anything.

next I would see if they have a relay..if so it maybe stuck (new relay)

Im lucky, mine have always worked great. Until the passenger side nozzle broke off somehow wheeling. Now it looks like a breaching whale when I turn them on. I can almost spray right into the convertibles beside me..

I have a spare spryer assembly from my 92 pajero. Let me know if you need it, we can discuss bargaining later

Thanks for the ideas guys! I'm going to try to get to it this weekend. Im hoping it's the relay or stalk and not a shorted wire in the fender somewhere
