Anybody tried a Montero side window in a Pajero?
Hi there,
Has anybody tried (or can confirm) that a 89-92 Montero side window will fit in a Pajero? I need to replace the driver's side front window in my 92 LWB Pajero & I'm hoping that they're compatible...
Thanks in advance!

During a trip up from California I picked up some sliding rear side windows from a montero. I haven't taken them to a auto glass specialist yet (waiting for summer) but I'm not entirely sure they will fit. They certainly weren't mounted the same?!? Are you sure every part of a montero ought to fit the pajero?

it does
the sliding windows are a bit different they need the mounting clips. did you get those with the frame?

to be honest I don't remember what needed when I did my slider swap. It was over 5 years ago.

Do you have any idea if the rear sliding window on a LWB will fit the rear window for a SWB?
I've looked at side by side photo's of both, and they look the same. We've been putting off a quick run down to Oregon for a while now, I was hoping to track a set down at a wreckers or something and just swap them out on site as those windows pop out really easily. There are some on ebay right now, but it says no lock, so no good for me. Very handy for the rear passengers of a SWB.

No. They are different length/dimension. Mephisto confirmed it between the LWB and SWB.pajerry wrote:Do you have any idea if the rear sliding window on a LWB will fit the rear window for a SWB?

That is one thing I don't like about my SWB, the fact the rear windows don't open at all.
Good luck making it work.

Thats a drag, because it gets really cookin' back there, eh!
I didn't want to go there, but I guess I'll be adding some tint come spring. I hate losing any visibility.
