Change seats
how difficult is it to change the middle bench and fold up seat for Captains seats?

never seen it done, they are mounted differently. The captains chairs are on rails they can slide on while the bench (at least mine) is stationary.

Like Adrock says. Its different mounting. You would need to mount the rails in the floor for captains chairs (or bolt them right through)

If you want to exchange the bench and all of the hardware I would go for it. I have two captains chairs and all the mounting hardware that I would trade for a middle bench with its hardware. It would be easy enough to mount the captains chairs... I assume the same could be said for the bench.
