Hmm... Could have sworn I answered this and re-read it as a post but perhaps I didn't get past preview.
By next spring you mean 2013, yes? A ways off to be sure but I could get into the idea.
I have been fascinated by the idea ever since I read Erebus's thread: Inuvik or bust by expedition Delica.
Have you plotted a course? What are your plans?
Falco.

My plans are this. Asuuming I get stretch ready (LOL) I will grip it and rip it. By saying, I really don't have any. I have a customer that lives about three hundred miles north of Whitehorse who has invited me (us) to a day or two on his trapline. I have early March in mind but a lot depends on the weather of course.
As for the Convoy comment. I'll wait at the top of every hill for you all!!!!!

Re: Vancouver to Tuk
since you've got the 6x6 with all that cargo space back there sporting a V8, you can be the wvo supply fuel truck! Just load it with 2 totes.

Re: Vancouver to Tuk
I'd be interested if I can save up some extra money on top of the amount I'm setting aside for a down payment.

Re: Vancouver to Tuk
Fred, start yer own thread!
I have often thought about Tuk, I can probably drum up a couple of connexions in Dawson City through a mate of mine, or at least places to go and we do have members on the site from that neck of the toolies, perhaps they will chime in?
Falco.
