All Japanese Car Show on June 24, 2012

Hello All,
This year's All Japanese Car Show in Victoria will be June 24th at Gyro Park in Cadboro Bay. We are hoping that we can get a bigger JDM turnout than last year. The show is from 11-3pm. We will post more information along as we come closer to the date.

I would like to make this one. Depending on the schedule and whether I have made any money by then... I haven't made it to the Island since '09. This would be a great way to start off an Island drive!

UPDATE

This event is definitely a GO - I just spoke with one of the organisers.

There is plenty of sponsors including Campus Cars (Nissan and Infiniti), Lordco, Rocky Mountain Imports, and a bunch others I don't remember. There will be prizes and trophies, and there will also be food vendors on site (didn't get any indication of who or what they'll be selling).

All-in-all it sounds like it's going to be a good showing again. No promise on the weather, but you will see quite the collection of Japanese vehicles. Let's wave our JDM Mitsubishi flag and show up en masse this year (there were three of us last year, frowny face).

Well new brakes and a turbo to install this weekend.. then a cut polish and wax during the week and I'll see you all there.... so long as my brakes work and I don't F up my turbo install.

Drive past UVic all the way down the hill. After the stop sign keep going straight. If you hit water you've gone too far. There's a park on your left.

Mad rush to get out of the city today, pack, finish truck stuff, annnnnnnnnnd the show is Sunday. Oops. Haha oh well be nice to have a weekend in Victoria! See you all at the show and hopefully shine!
