Hi KTMguy, welcome to Delica Canada :M
  • The majority of Delicas that come to Canada are diesel, but there are the odd gasoline versions available. I like diesel.
  • Depending what your personal choice is. I personally feel that the L300 (mid engine) is better off road than the L400 ~ has a shorter wheel base of 88.5 inches where the L400 SWB is 110 inch wheel base. The space between the wheel wells in the in the L400 is 40", in the L300 it is 50". The L400 seats six people, with the driver ~ L300 seats seven. L400 is powered with a 2.8 litre turbo diesel, with an inter-cooler ~ L300 has a 2.5 turbo diesel, no inter-cooler, &c.
  • Shop around. I would suggest checking out Delica Trader, which you will find links for in the board index of Delica Canada. This would be a good start.

Good luck and keep asking questions... smiles.

Falco.
