cylinder head replasement
I have got the new head and am moving parts. how do i move the pump on the back of the head? it is a 4d56 with tubo and intercooler.

I can't think of anything on the cylinder head that could be described as a pump. Can you provide a picture of the offending part?
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Do you mean the fuel filter (with the manual pump) that is on the wall just behind the engine? If so, just disconnect the whole thing from the wall (much easier to unscrew from the wall than to unscrew the filter head from the connectors). Cheers, Christine.

I'm a little suspicious of the "It is a Turbo with Intercooler" bit. I didn't think L300s of any vintage came with an intercooler.
