Being new to jacked up vans I'm wondering were you lift with a hi lift jack? Does not seem to be able to access an appropriate lift point on my L400 LWB?

there is no hi-lift jack point on a stock L400
a steel bumper (braced along the frame) with a hi-lift point is the best option or you can use one of these :

Hi lift jack/ farm lift
Perfect now how would one get the tire off in a flat situation? Other then using jack stands i guess
