Hello all, I have a bad rear oil seal in my l400.
I had the seal professionally replaced, but by the time I was home (60 km) the engine oil was mostly all on the ground, so now the poor Delica sits at our Cummins mechanics shop.
We have multiple new seals, and the new oil slinger, but we need the installation tool or the specs on how to get one made up. The tool Costs $600.00 + to order from Japan but as me nor my mechanic plan on going into Delica repairs the price is absurd.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, if no help available, what are these vans worth as parts?
ps. please don't say use a rubber hammer, that's what started this nightmare

Re: Rear Oil Seal problems
Hoping your L400 back on the road soon from your local mechanic shop.
Let them check out all other possible damage on the block.
