Hey guys, so I have found a pinhole leak on the heater core line that attaches to the passenger side on the head of the engine. I will be replacing both the lines this weekend and was looking for some advice if needed. from a quick look in the engine compartment I could not see how far back the hoses go. How accessible are these hoses to get to? any advice that you guys have for me before I change them out?
I dont even know the location of the heater core, so I have no clue where they go. Thanks for the help!

Re: heater core hoses
If they are for the rear heater core they go way back behind your frond drivers side wheel to the rear fan/blower assembly. Let us know how it goes!

Re: heater core hoses
The hoses themselves are not all that long, they connect to metal piping, and then back to hoses at the heater core (both front and back) I would recommend changing them all if they haven't been done before. I would guess at 8-10 ft to change it all. But that's just a guess, I buy it in 50' rolls, and just cut pieces to length as I go.

Are they hard to access? Or will I have to remove a million things to get to them? I'm hoping this will be a quick driveway job

Replacing the pipes is an easy job, all connections are accessible from under the van without having to remove anything. You might need to remove the splash guard that's just under the front bumper to get to the front heater connections.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
