More specifically the lights for the heater controls and the lights for the fog light switch.
What kind of bulbs/size get put in there for replacements?
Thx

Re: Dash bulbs
cant remember exactly but their a small capless bulb, bit of a pig to change! well it was how I did it
instead of pulling the heater controls from the dash and risk cracking the dash surround! I took off the dash top clock binicle and got to the bulbs through the top of the dash! the standard bulbs have a green rubber cap on them, you can pick green bulbs an do away with the cap

Re: Dash bulbs
This is from prairiefire. We got talking dash bulbs at the IKEA meet - and he showed me his cool blue dashlight replacement. I'm dying to do mine now. I think this is what you are asking about. With no further ado:
Here is the listing for the heater bulbs. The size is the smallest one. The T3 Neo wedge. They come from Hong Kong. Took a couple weeks. You could also look over at Superbrightleds for T3 Neo wedge. They would be more $ there.

This store is connected with Banggood. Cheap Chinese lights. Got most of my other LED's there.

I'm intrigued. This seems easier - has anyone tried this? Thanks fredtwell it was how I did it instead of pulling the heater controls from the dash and risk cracking the dash surround! I took off the dash top clock binicle and got to the bulbs through the top of the dash!

Re: Dash bulbs
I was gonna post on this but Glenn beat me to it. I just did my heater controls. Not to hard if you have an electronic climate control setup. Slightly more difficult if it's the manual push pull type. Not to sure about the fog light switch though. Pm Firesong if you have any questions.

Dash bulbs
I was just looking at my switches for the fog lights. I don't think they are lit normally.
I've taken my bezel off 3 times already. For deck install and changing some wiring. It's a 3 minute job on my 98. Ill take it off and pull the heater mechanism when I get a chance. Was hoping to have bulbs on the ready for it before I started the job.
Oh well :)

Re: Dash bulbs
Oops. I meant to say for you yo Pm me Firesong. You'll be hard pressed to find anything local. Order from eBay.... Hong Kong or Superbrightleds... USA. They are the smallest size of neo wedge. T3 I think. 120 or 180 degrees. HTH
