Ok, my Gretto DRL module is installed and it was working. The truck passed the OOP inspection this morning. At the end of the day after driving a couple of hours, the fuse was busted.
The Pajero headlights only have on double H3 (I think) bulb for the low and high beam. Now, I connected the wire to the lower beam. Would that be the problem? Is it because it draw to much power? Is any of you guys got a different setup?
Reading the regulations about DRL on the Gov't website http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/acts-regulation ... iv-108.htm, it is hard to clearly understand what they mean by (52) A daytime running lamp may be optically combined with a front fog lamp that conforms to SAE Standard J583, Front Fog Lamps (June 1993), or to paragraphs 3, 4.2, 4.3, 5 and 6 of ECE Regulation No. 19, Uniform Provisions Concerning the Approval of Motor Vehicle Front Fog Lamps, Revision 3 (March 2, 1993).
Do they mean you actually can use a fog light as your DRL?
Anyway, I'd like to have your thoughts on this little issue please!
Cheers,
Kim, Fred and Yeti!

Re: DRL not working!
You can do whatever you want moving forward.. you did already pass after all. Lol kidding. I had my low beam for mine as well but didn't like it. Most people go with an led strip light of sort, I don't like the look of that personally as it just looks like a bad copy of an audi or merc. I just bought some 1157 cree plus smd led bulbs from china for my side markers and wired the high side up. Its very bright. Considering my gmc work van has an amber incondecent 1156 bulb as a dtr light I am sure 800 lumens of cree led is more than enough.
That's me though...
