L-400 U-joint part numbers
Wondering if anyone has these? Also curious if there's a cross reference guide for the L400 like there is for the L300? I've searched and searched but maybe I missed something. I did find a full parts list for the mitsubishi stock parts but I think it was the UK forum, and the u-joints were listed as a kit. It would be handy to know what we could get from Napa/Lordco and what we would have to order without having to wade through endless posts. Thanks!

I'll Bite,
I believe they were made by Precision, and the main shaft uses 2x #398 and the front a single #399. Anyone may correct me if wrong. around the $40.00 range each.

These are the numbers I found too, no indication anywhere if they're the same as L400 though. Or if they're Same as Montero? Anyone?nxski wrote:Those numbers are for L300, not sure if L400 is the same!?

Those u-joint numbers are the same as a 1988 Montero (sorry, I was thinking brakes), which is the same as an L300, which may or may not be the same as an L400!?

Re: L-400 U-joint part numbers
You could always go purchase what you need using these numbers, drop the shaft and take a closer look/feel, and measure up while you are there . These are what I purchased, (the 398's) for my l400 as I thought mine were on there way. My local lordco had a list labeled with two columns....L400 and L300 which they had stockpiled for the Delicas. I suppose its possible they could be mistaken. After dropping the shaft and having a feel, they seemed fine so I returned them.

Awesome, thanks! I'll try it out this weekend if I get the chance.
