My experience with inverters

I needed an inverter to run a 110v transfer pump to collect wvo. I got a 3000w unit on sale at crappy tire. It was a "modified sine wave" inverter. The motor on my pump didn't like it. I sold it. I got a 1000w "pure sine wave" inverter at crappy tire. It works great. Draws 330 w when pulling oil.

Beware the "modified sine wave".
