Bull bar rework

Just thought I'd share some pics of my somewhat rusty front end that I reworked.

Light rust on the lower bull bars and chrome end bars, wire brushed and ready for POR-15.

POR-15 applied along with 2 coats of underbody spray, ready for install.

While I was at it, I thought I'd play with removing my steps. They are starting to pick up a little rust in places so I will either touch them up or sell them, depending on if I like the extra clearance removing them makes.

The kids have to work a little harder to get in, but a little exercise never hurt anyone, right?

Steps back on for that nice stock look or leave them off cause it looks more bad-ass?

Input and opinions welcome.

I like the badass look. Or some fold down steps that leave you with clearance but also create a nice finished look and the functionality.

The only reason mine are still on is because they're protecting the paint from the front tires. Once I have fender flares and mud flaps, BOOM! They're gone!!

Where you able to get the POR 15 locally or did you have to order it. I see KMS has it on sale but locally they only have clear which kinda defeats the purpose of painting over the rust! Nice job - loose the running boards.

Lordco, I think it was about $30/Qt.

Thanks.
