CV BOOTS

Post by rdub »

My cv boots are starting to split,i just noticed this while lubin,is ther an after market boot that will wrap around the joint? for now i was thinking of wraping another shock boot around it to keep it clean, and zap straping it
I am stable in most situations that I have no reservations in stormy conditions.

I had the same problem with my passenger side CV joint boot. I taped it with electricians tape to hold it together till I could find a new boot. Hopefully just the boot can be replaced, not the entire Cv joint. I'll let you know what I find.

Hi, the CV boot is the same as Mitsubishi montero, you can buy a split style cv boot or the replacement one that fit Mitsubishi montero.
hope this help; Cheers:
