Wanted,, Roof Top Tent

Hey there folks,

I'm getting rid of my Winnebago this spring and converting my '93 Super Exceed into a camper. I wanna install a Roof Top Tent but they're quite pricey from new. Anyone have a decent used one they're looking to sell for a decent price?? I've got the racks already and a Terzo Ladder off the rear hatch..

Good luck to you Phill!! I just bought a used RTT of Kajiji after searching for almost a year! They are hard to come by for sure and the one that I got was only used once and sold for 200 off retail. But I talked to a very nice girl named Trish at Wild Coast Tents, you can get a sandpiper RTT brand new for about 1000.00. Still pricy but the cheapest tent that I could find new in Canada. Worth sending an email over, also they do have the occasional sale from time to time to move out any old inventory, so you might find a deal that way. As for me I ended up with a Autana RTT from Tepui Tents!! Came with the annex as well, so I am currently making a roof rack for my van to accommodate my tent and awning. Getting pretty excited for the spring!!

Thanks so much for this info. I'll definitely follow up on your lead. There was a tent listed on kijiji here in Ontario last year and I was too slow moving on it and it sold....

I'm happy with paying $1,000 if it's worth it so I'll start with these guys first and see what happens.

Keep an eye on Craigslist; I bought my hard shell autohome Columbia for a grand, which is pretty typical. But they only last a few days before they are scooped.

I think that's the model of tent I missed on kijiji here in Ontario..... :( Those look pretty sweet and easy to use. Like you said, they go quick and I missed that on. It's all good and it doesn't matter. They've cancelled spring here already. And they're threatening Summer next
