Hello All,
Well I am officially out of the Delica world…. am I a bit sad? You betcha! I was unable to register my L300 bought in BC a few years ago drove it to the Yukon, removed the rear seats and changed the interior into a camper van. Then I moved to Vancouver went to register it and was told there were too many modifications! So I said F#@* it after several frustrating months.
I went out and bought a 1983 GMC Vandura for my camper van. Is it as cool as a deli, No.Is it a 4x4, not yet…. So my work on this new project (Gene is the van’s name) begins….
I have a 2 inch lift kit, a ladder for a high roof L300 and a few misc. items (fuel filters, botls and screws) I would like it all gone I would like 150 dollars for everything OBO.
First come first sold….text me at 604 358 2103 Dave

Sounds like you got a tool of a VI shop... I ran into the same issue with my Kei truck, shop I went to wasn;t a very good VI shop and insisted my brake and fuel hardline should read DOT.... you can;t even buy that locally! Then he said the car leans when you sit in it so the spring are shot.. the guy was well over 250lbs of course it leans when he sat in it... Ended up taking it to another shop and it passed without issue.
