Hello all,
Getting into buying one of these badboys!
I see a lot Vans for sale from these guys. They are a dealer in Burnaby, B.C. I saw the Delica Dealer/Importer Ratings and Feedback post with many dealers on it but Velocity Cars was not in there.
Does anyone have any info on these guys?
Thanks for the help!

Am also looking for any feedback, as we're in the market for a Delica and considering Velocity Cars.

Have heard some bad things, mthough I have no personal experience. IMO the best delica dealer around is Coombs Country Autos...but I would say the best and most likely safest purchase would be a private sale which has been run in Canada for a few years. Price will be much lower and you should be able to avoid a lemon. Make sure to get an inspection done.
This looks to be a very good deal http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified- ... -_21678235
I have nothing to do with the sale, just like scanning the classifieds.

Thanks islander20.
Will check out Coombs Country Auto in 2 weeks, though if I find the right Deli at another dealer, I may purchase it and take it to Coombs for maintenance.
Thanks for finding that classified, too.

I took a Delica for a test drive at Velocity a few weeks back.. The sales person wasn't able to put my mind at ease concerning issues like how to maintain a RHD Import, parts supply, etc! Rising Sun Imports is just down the road from there in Queensborough.. In my opinion, RSI and Coombs are the most knowledgable Delica Specialists in Western Canada.
Peace, Mike

I think the guys at velocity cars are great. Bought a 98 delica from them on April 2. Flew in they picked me up at the airport
Within three hours I had it inspected taking a test drive and was leaving their shop with my Delica all papers and work done.
I then proceeded to spend 14 days tripping around BC and Driving home. Was a 4000 km drive as my home in Sudbury Ontario.
Drive was done with NO issues. The best trip I've ever had, the best vehicle I've ever driven. Greatly surpassed my expectations.
Anybody that sells me a used 1998 vehicle and I could drive 4000 km off the lot is alright in my books.
Would I buy another vehicle from them ? absolutely
This is an old 98 guys this is not a brand-new vehicle I did not P a brand-new vehicle price but I got the brand-new vehicle ride
Hooray Velocity cars

The guys at Coombs Country Autos are great. I like how you go and pick out your new ride, then choose how much work gets done to it. If I were to do it again I would have gone through them.

Just bought a 99 Delica from them a couple weeks ago. Overall I'm happy with the service, they were upfront about all their prices and were able to produce any documents I asked for so nothing too shady going on there. We spent a few days driving around BC then made the drive back to Calgary without any issues. Only problem we ran into was when the vehicle went for Alberta OOP they found one of the head gaskets leaking BUT we had a pre-purchase inspection done which showed it was fine when we bought it and we also purchased the third-party warranty (Lubrico) which covered the repair, Velocity was able to help our mechanic quickly source parts for this as well.
I would definitely consider purchasing from them again.
