I hope this was a good decision, bought it sight unseen. It's a gasser. Does anyone have some front end parts to get her back on the road? it looks to only be the front passenger fender, bumper, grill, hood. I'll know more when I look at it

Re: just scored a complete parts van, $2555.55
The rad support took a hard hit.
Smashed right headlight.
The diesel models have a tranny cooler on that corner behind the bumper skin..not sure if the gasser does as well.
You will know more once you get a good look at the right corner.
Most of the damage looks like body, lights, bumper skin. You may have lucked out!

Re: just scored a complete parts van
I bought it as a parts vehicle as I currently need drivers front window, front AC fan assembly, complete HVAC unit and now while swapping all my fluids over to full synthetic I found a spider gear tooth in the front diff, pulled it apart, aside from the 1 tooth missing the diff looks to be OK.
I researched a little deeper and found V6-Delica of delicaclub.com to confidently say that S1's diesels have 4.875 gearing, S2's have 4.636, possibly 4.875 for V6 (will confirm that with him and post back)
S1's have a V4AW3 trasaxel and S2's have a V4A51trasaxel.
Are the transfer cases interchangeable?
Can the transmission be interchanged by changing the bellhousing, flywheel and torgue converter, part number for starters differ as well so that would need to be changed.

That one was on the for sale lot here and sold. Then in an accident within a weekish.

Re: just scored a complete parts van
I tried to find the link in the trader but it's gone.
I think I'll take advantage of having a second van to build a camper in the back and a proper front winch bumper in the convenience of my spare time, not having to do it to my daily driver.
And it's probably worth fixing up, hopefully it will pass safety with a tube bumper

Re: just scored a complete parts van
Well I inspected the van in the flesh today and all I can say is WOW! It defied my expectations, it's in better shape then my current van.
I found the previous owners registration and it was registered august 24 2015, it wasn't even on the road for a month.
The damage is so minimal, for a quick fix I'll probably be able to pop the bumper back into shape and work some magic with fibreglass and epoxy and spray it with rock guard. If I'm careful I should be able to massage the fender back into good enough shape to get it back together.
The radiator is bent, so I'll need a new one, as well as a new grill, new signal light, head light and fog light assembly.
I'm in no rush to get this one on the road, I really only wanted a front drivers window and a rear heater assembly for my S1! I'm going to pull the seats out and store them, and have a blank canvass to pluck away on a camper conversion. I already took all the measurements I needed on my other van to get a pretty good idea of how I'll do it, but the logistics of trying to build a quality camper in your daily driver just don't work. Now I've got zero pressure.
