Glow Plug Controller - How to fix

Something happened today - the glow plugs don't click when I turn the key in the ignition - it just started happening. I have read that this may be the glow plug controller. How do I check this? (where is it located)? I checked the wiki, and although the electrical manual has a diagram, I am not sure where to locate the controller.
