I'm putting a new radiator in my '88 2.4L petrol L300 this week and wanted to drain and clean the system first—but I can't, for the life of me, find the drain plug for the engine block coolant.
Can anybody post a photo, diagram, or description of where it's located?
*Note: This is the 2.4L gas engine, not diesel.

Re: Engine block coolant drain plug?
There's a downloadable 4G6- engine workshop manual in the L300 FAQ here: http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=7335 and a more generic one here: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.kiev.ua/Ma ... 16/11A.pdf
However I vaguely recall that the 4G6- engines don't have a coolant drain plug. I might be misremembering though, so check the workshop manual anyway.
Edit: sort of misremembering. Some blocks have drain plugs, some don't. If you have one it's a hex drive plug on the right hand side, near the oil pressure sender, under the coolant pipe.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
