Steering wheel replacement

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Steering wheel replacement

Post by paddyak »

Hi guys . I need to replace my steering wheel here in new Zealand in order to make my deli road legal. Finding it hard to get a second hand deli wheel in good condition locally . My question is are deli steering wheel spines compatible with any other Mitsubishi steering wheels or even other manufacturers?

Do you have airbags? You'll need to find something that has an airbag and looks vaguely standard to keep the WOF people happy. Try Pickapart or Zebra Upullit. The L300s shared splines with a bunch of other Mitsubishis, I'd be surprised if the L400s are different. (I currently have a '96 Chariot steering wheel on my van).
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
