Hubcentric toyota wheels, will it fit?

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Hubcentric toyota wheels, will it fit?

Post by Mr.SA »

looking at these wheels that someone is selling locally http://www.stealthcustomseries.com/products/wheels/f5/
Just not sure if they'll fit. Doesnt say a center bore size just "hubcentric" i've ran into problems with a previous car and not being able to find the right hubcentric ring, so the center bore wasn't in contact with the hub.

I've seen wheels described as "hubcentric" when what they mean is "has a really big centre bore so should fit anything if you have the right hubcentric ring".

Mitsubishi 4WDs need a 107mm centre bore- I'd be contacting the retailer and asking what the centre bore is, and if they have hubcentric rings to bring it down to 107mm.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Before I pull the trigger on these wheels.. Will a 16x8 with 0 offset fit for sure? Mostly concerned with it clearing all the suspension bits, I do plan on sticking with a stock-ish width tire, just going a bit taller.

Original wheels are usually 15" x 6" (5.5" on low-grade 4WD vans) with a 32mm offset. Your new wheels should fit- they're 2" wider, but the zero offset means the inner rim will be about half an inch further out than stock, and the outer rim about 2.5" further out. It might end up looking like a roller skate, which is pretty neat.

Original tyres were 215s, which is usually considered slightly too wide for road use on a 5.5" or 6" rim but is a decent compromise for off-road use. 215s are the narrowest you'd want to go on an 8" rim, but I think 225s work well on a Delica.
