Bazinnnga.... An unwanted resistance!!!

So, the other day I noticed that when I had my right signal on, the day time running lights and the dash light would come dimmer each time the relay would click! After further investigation late this afternoon, I double checked all lights for a bad resistance, checked the flasher relay, then the signal stat.. Still nothing. Back to basic... J'me gratte la patate!!! where was the last time I fiddled with the lights/something..

Da daa!! Je me souviens... During the summer months I run a solar system witch is rooted around my rear right tail light... This was my last known location I fiddled with... Found a open wired that was rubbing on the frame... That's weird that the fuse never went... So I checked the fuse panel for proper fuse... Looks like whoever fiddled with it mounted a 25Amp fuse it there... Should be 15Amp!

Word of advice everyone... Double check your fuse box and make sure you have the proper fuse Amp in place!!!

Bonne soire a tous!

Great suggestion; added to the list. So the lights getting dimmer when blinkers are on signify a short?

The engine would get extra loaded aswell! As soon as the relay would activate all lights would have a signal light motion but dimming... In the end I had positive on body ground... Giving unwanted load on all that was running!
