What relay is this?

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

What relay is this?

Post by Gandalf »

Hello everyone,

I've scoured the plethora of manuals that I have purchased or downloaded, but I cannot find the outline of the engine bay electrical layout/diagrams that pertain to the 1998 6G72 V6 engine... everything references 4--- series engines and engine bays. In particular, I'm looking for a description for the following relay that is bolted to the front of the engine bay fusebox, in the picture below. It has an ignition wire going to it that I am thinking of tapping into for a trigger wire (not power supply) for the daytime running light relay/module that I'm installing. Any suggestions or information welcome, I have a slightly time-sensitive deadline.

I'll answer my own question,
It seems to be the relay for foglights, which, as in my model, aren't optionally installed, so I couldn't have guessed a better relay to tap for extra LED DRL's, lol It seems unused otherwise in my van.

Mitsubishi installing components which aren't used. No wonder they went broke. ;-)
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
