Infernal Squeaking from under the chassis

I hope someone out there might know this one. It's a head scratcher.

There is a squeaking that comes from under the chassis. It sounds like a rubber bushing moving inside a carrier or something. It's not constant but squeals like rubbing on movement, like over bumps, turning the wheels at a stand still and general side to side rocking of the van.

I've sprayed every possible bushing that I can find under the van like trans mounts and such, but still the DeliLlama screams like a tortured banshee.

Anyone come across this? I can make it squeal by rocking the van side to side.

Cheers! :)

Have a look at the muffler.

I had a similar sound a few weeks ago. Got out my trust grease gun and hit all the nipples (especially the ones on the front suspension). No more squeak!

*** NOTE: just do ONE squeeze of the grease gun per nipple or you can blow out the rubber covers!!! ***

It takes a bit of sleuthing to find some of them, all caked in road grime, but a good wire brush cleans them up pretty well.

Dang, of course! :) Thanks! Poor BJ's don't have nipples. :(

The usual culprits for suspension squeaks are the anti-roll bar bushes. Also check your subframe mounting nuts- it's unlikely to be them (they usually cause a clunk) but if they are loose you want to find it now.
