Pasenger side miror

Post by Shepherd »

My Delica is on its way east from B.C. to Saskatchewan. I noticed in the pictures I have of my Delica that there is no pasenger side miror. Does anyone know where I could find one? I may need it for my Sask, Inspection early next week.
Thanks

You definately need that side mirror! I don't think I could get by without it . It tells me how far away from the line I am most of the time! There is a bit of a blind spot between the front passenger seat and the sliding door too so its pretty much essential.

Try ebay UK or Germany as well. Use Delica or L300 for the model.

you're probably already aware of this, but I thought I would point out that the passenger side mirror isn't in the usual spot you'd expect on most vehicles, it's more in front of the vehicle than beside it (you view it through the windshield and not the side window)
That being said, if you are missing it... yes you'll want one...

As for inspection, the legal requirment is that you have the driver's side mirror and one other mirror (either passenger side OR the rear view inside) of course with the vehicle being on the "other" side, I don't know which side mirror they will say is the mandatory one...

I have a spare mirror if you are interested?? (chrome one)

Do you have the mirror arms?? The arms are different each side (2 on the passenger side and only one on the drivers side), but the mirror is the same, so worst case scenario, you could swap the mirror over if you have the arms for it?

Regards,

Bruce.

P.S. I might also be able to track down some arms too - leave it with me...

Let me know and I'll get what I can....

Hi
I sure am thankfull for the help. I just checked the pics I have and the miror is black. I am not above having non matching mirors. Hope this does not make you think less of me. Any way I would need the arms also. I would like to know how to pay you for these parts and what is the easyest shipping? I can have my bank transfer the $$. Or what ever you would like.
Thanks again. This forum is such a great thing. Hey I like the logo. I just saw it know.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi Bruce
I found out today
The guy I bought My Delica from decided to put
a miror on. It mist another truck ride east. They went to load it and the bateries were dead. But he replaced both batteries and miror. So I wait. But atleast I got bateries and a miror.
Thanks for offering your help.

Hi Trav,

Glad you got it sorted - always nice when things come together! :D

It's good for me too because my new L300 needs a passenger mirror! The housing is OK, but the mirror lens is broken, so the one I was saving for you has found a new home....

Regards,

Bruce.

P.S. You're gonna LOVE the motor when you get it! 8) 8)

Thats Great!

I saw the pics of your new delica. what a deal.
I am still waiting for mine to arive. The trucks are backloged because of bad weather. Its -20 here today anyway and its going to get colder as the weekend comes. Not the best weather to start messing around with a new veichle anyway.

Thanks again for your help.
