cd changer removal
I have a 1997 LWB with the 3.0l gas engine, Super Exceed. At the back of the van is a CD changer. I removed it yesterday, but that caused the touchscreen HVAC control to stop working. It looks like for some reason (possibly the Nav system?) the touch screen control unit passes some of its wiring through the CD player. Has anyone had any luck stripping the CD changer out? I read another post here, but the head unit was completely different. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: cd changer removal
Do you mean you have MMCS? I'm afraid if that's the case then the unit in the trunk is not the CD changer - that's the brain of MMCS - the CD changer is under the passenger seat. If you want to remove the whole MMCS, I can help guide you, but it's more than unplugging a few wiresKBand wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 1:14 pm I have a 1997 LWB with the 3.0l gas engine, Super Exceed.
