Please excuse my ignorance, but are all Deli's L300? Seems like most of the info on the wiki is for L300 and I am not sure if that info will work for me.
Man, I am such a newbie!
Thanks,
OG

Re: L300?
All delicas in canada are L300s so far. Apparently the L300 was made from 1980 or so until 1998. With the 15 year minimum age of a vehicle before we can import it to canada from japan, we can only get L300s. So the newest delica you can get in canada right now is a '93 L300.
The L400 was introduced in '94 (300 and 400 were simultaneously manufactured until '98) so if we wanted to we could start importing L400s here next year. That said I suspect the L300 will remain quite popular in Canada as it is more rugged and utility oriented than the L400 it seems.

Re: L300?
The L300 was made well in to this decade, and according to some reports is STILL being made.Apparently the L300 was made from 1980 or so until 1998
(if in doubt, just ask our member niekt who drives a 2001 L300 (granted not in Canada))
There are also reports that Dodge will be selling the L300 (rebadged) in Mexico in the next year or 2

Re: L300?
All the Delicas on this web site are L300s.
There were L100 and L200 Delicas, none of which ever made it to Canada. There is the newer L400, introduced in 1994, and the D:5, introduced in 2007. Hyundai made a number of Mitsubishi vehicles under license in the 1990s; the Hyundai "L300" was the Hyundai Grace, and the Hyundai "L400" was the Hyundai S-Trex. I posted some pictures of them on this web site from a trip to Costa Rica last February.
There are a couple of cute Japanese D:5 ads on YouTube. I have the happy Japanese family outing one on my iPod. There is also an Australian review of the L400.
