pre-empted wet floor fix

Post by torchard »

I'm not sure why I'm even posting this. I suppose to see if others have had the same hurdles.

Based on common experience on this site, and with some other projects on this van, I expected the screws to be seized and had bought an impact driver in preparation (the hammer type). However, other than with the top side screw, there's no room to swing a hammer so the driver is useless for this particular task. There's no way I'll turn them with a screw driver. And getting a drill to a couple of the key screws is also problematic. Seems like the only way is use an angle grinder or dremel type thing. Thoughts? All is not lost though as I did get a relay mounted and 90 percent wired behind the drivers side light pod. The question remains as to whether it will make a noticable improvement to the low beam output...
