Got a van

So after a couple months of research (mostly on this forum), I picked up my 1990 Delica today. And am I ever stoked! I talked to a few different dealers, and went with 5 Star in Parksville (the folks that Glen from ccautos sells his vans through). Through pure dumb luck I managed to get caught in the new inspection regulations enacted by TC (and ICBC?) a few weeks ago requiring pictures of the vehicle to be sent in to the head office.

Long story short, when the van wasn't ready in time for a work trip, the boys at 5 Star lent me a dodge work van for a couple weeks to cover the wait. The reg. numbers are still working their way through the labyrinth, so they're covering me on their dealer insurance for the interim while I get the van outfitted with a hitch. Overall, really good service, and the van runs great. The roof needs a new paint job, but I just see that as an excuse to airbrush a woman on a horse with a big sword and lightning bolts!

I'm sure I'll have more, I'll be using the new wheels for my field work for the next few months, so I'll be wheeling it everyday.
