Finally!!!

Very very nice '93, even has the sliding windows!!! Someone took good care of your van in Japan, now it's your turn! Get some plates on that thing and start having fun...

Cheers,
David

ps. I got your message this morning but didn't hear back after so I figured you were too excited to just drive around...mud flaps?

Congratulations - it looks like its in stunning condition!

Hope the test drive went well?

The black & silver is quite a rare combo and I quite like it. Those JAOS mud flaps (or whatever you Canadians call them?) are pretty desirable and VERY expensive! (About $300 a set!!)

We've got matching spot/fog lamps....PIAA 325's were about $650 a pair when new! I stuck a set on the Mud Monkey the other day.

Those wheels realy suit the motor - I like them a lot (good choice of tyres/tires too)

Well there you go - I think it's great and I bet you're well excited?? Trust me, the love affair is only just beginning. You're gonna have many, many great adventures in that thing.

Well done and most of all.....ENJOY! :-D 8-)

Pinkfingers, the Jammy Dodger is one SEXY ride! Congratulations! And a really sweet finish to her. What did you use for wax on her?

Falco.

She was detailed by Japanoid before I picked her up - I don't know what they used. But she sure is shiny!

Morning, just wanted to butt in to say you might want to consider deleting your post that points out you have a 94 Delica. Staying in Vancouver right now, at family that; she's ICBC admin and he's employed by a Jimmy Patasson company. They do want a JDM, but want to cover all the legal stuff to protect there ride. And sis said the crew at ICBC was reading the Delica.ca forum out of mutual interest; cause they think there cool of course. But you never no. Five Star sold a 94, traded it back a few months later at the owners request.

Don't mean to be an alarmist, I'd keep yours myself, but maybe call Glen at Coombs country auto for some more facts.

Regards,
Kevin

Hi Kev,

I believe Pinkfingers ride is a '94 model year but manufactured in 1993 (the 1994 model was released in June 1993)

The best way to tell is to look at the date stamp on the bottom of the front seatbelts. This will give the manufacture date more accurately than most documentation.

I know that you know this fact, but some members might not. Check the label and look at the date....you can see below that mine is Sept 1992 (Mud Monkey)

Might be of some use in keeping ICBC happy if browsing the forums?? (what a compliment heh? 8-) )
