Delica Yawing

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Delica Yawing

Post by Reinhold »

I think I need some rudder pedals in the Delica!
Going over railway tracks, washboards and other poor road surfaces at speed the Delica tends to yaw to the left or right quite badly almost to the point losing control.
I have not done any torsion bar adjustment or wheel alignment yet which would probably be the answer. Probably replace the shocks with 9000's.
Anyone else have this problem or it something else that I should be looking at besides the above?

Replace the shocks, swaybar bushings, re-index and adjust Tbars.

That will change the entire ride.

....and do it sooner rather than later because that sounds dangerous!

Not only will it improve the ride, it'll make a much safer (and more relaxing) car to drive. Deli's are a joy to drive, not a worry, so I'd look into it ASAP if I were you.

Let us know how you get on?

Bruce.
