vancouver A/C shop?

Post by coaxial »

yeah I know I should be doing all my own wrenching but AC is something I know zero about. It was ice cold last summer and I loved it.. this summer it turns on but barely cools the airflow at all. I think it just needs a recharge. Did some exploring and 4x4ing in 35-40 degree weather recently, and I'm van camping at the pemberton festival at the end of July, so I will definitely need AC. Where is a good place to get this done with a delica?

What does the forwardmost fan on the engine do? the one you can see if you look towards the engine from under the front bumper. Cools a radiator slightly smaller than the main radiator. Should it be on all the time or is it only on sometimes? I had some sticks and mud lodged in there and it was stuck for a while so I expect it's motor might be burned out. Is that for the A/C? or is the small rad under the front left stair all the A/C uses?

Thanks for the help

The forward most fan on the engine ~ you mean the one you can see from under the front between the front wheels, infront of the smaller rad in front of the big engine rad? That would be the oil rad and I suspect the fan is for that rad. As for A/C ~ I have no clue myself ~ is there no reference in the Deliwiki section of this website?
