Hey there everyone,
I have been in a jam over the last few days cause my timing belt has slipped and I happen to be in Hinton, Alberta without a proper Deli mechanic. I have managed to track down a shop in Edmonton by the name of Automotion, and was curious if anyone has dealt with them? and what would be a fair estimate for a new timing belt, seals, water pump and idler belt be? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again,
OG

Re: Timing Belt issues
Hi
I saw a post somewhere that Delica diesel engines are the same ones as the "early-mid 80's Dodge D50 pickup truck".
So, technically any diesel mechanic SHOULD be able to work on them just fine.
That said, of course it's better to get someone with Delica experience, as they're tricky to work on-not much room to maneuver under that passenger seat...
