Re: Delica & Pajero Auto Transmission Filter Kit
Are these easy to change? I haven't changed mine in 35,000km (since I bought the van). Right now I'm trying to diagnosis a loss of power issue which might be a clogged filter. The weird thing is I'm losing power going up hills on both WVO and diesel which would seem to indicate that both fuel filters are clogged, but I find it strange that they would both happen at the same time. If the loss of power isn't fuel filter related what would be the next best culprit?
EDIT: I think I might have solved the loss of power issue. I have a couple of sight glass filters, one supply line, and one on the return line for the IP, after the Pollack valve. It looks like my supply filter is clogged. I took out the filer element out of the sight glass housing and it seems to have solved the problem.
This seems a bit weird as I thought these sight glass filters were 15 micron and the filters for the WVO and the diesel which comes before the sight glass filters are 5 and 10 micron respectively. Maybe the the b50 I'm running is breaking up some grunge from my diesel system which clogged the sight glass filter?
Man, I really hijacked that thread

Re: Delica & Pajero Auto Transmission Filter Kit
HI, you have to take out the pan on it, clean inside pan, & replace the
steel strainer as a filter. you have to clean the magnet.
just take time to do it.
you can do it if you have time.
