Re: Dent on windshield.
Yes. Take it to an autoglass shop. They fill it with resin and seal.
Should be under $100 with tax.

Re: Dent on windshield.
any auto glass shop can fix that sort of thing, generally anything less than about an inch long they can fix.
the important part is that you get it done soon! if not it could easilly spread and require a new windshield, which can be tricky (though not impossible)

Re: Dent on windshield.
For a small chip like that you can buy a repair kit from Cambodian Tire/ Walmart/ Lordco for about twenty bucks. But like the others said, do it soon, the longer you leave it, the worse it gets. Also, any drit that gets in there will mar the repair

Re: Dent on windshield.
If the crack/chip has not made it's way through to the laminate layer, it will be a simple resin repair (and there are kits from Cambodia Tyre). Otherwise, you'll have to take it to an autoglass shop where they'll use the suction-cup-thingy.
N.B. If you're 'dent' has a ring around it, it's probably made it through to the laminate. The other way to tell is look at the mark from a sideways angle: the glass is thick enough most can see how far through the crack has gone.

Re: Dent on windshield.
I would not recommend buying the repair kit. I bought one for $13 from CT, read the instructions 10 times, did everything exactly as required and made it worse. A small stone chip turned into a nasty crack at a speed of light as soon as I engaged the pump to suck the air out. Tried to save $79+tax in Apple Autoglass and ended with replacing the windshield in CC Autos.
Do it in a glass shop and everything will be fine.

Re: Dent on windshield.
I had a similar but larger 'mark' on the windshield of my Grand Vitara a few years ago and fixed it in Speedy Glass in North Vancouver for $45 (now they doubled the fee). They did a perfect job and it took about 1.5 hrs.

Re: Dent on windshield.
In my professional and personal opinion it sure looks like the picture you have, has a drill mark on it from where somone drilled into the windshield to repair it, or it could be just the camera angle...

Thanks Larry!
I'll keep your nice banner in my mind for next occasion.
This car is in Japan, I wanted her, prepared money for wire transfer, but the owner refused to sell.
Thanks everybody for posting. I am sure this info will be helpful for all of us in the future.

Re: Dent on windshield.
sounds like it's irrelevant now then, but one thing to note in case the situation comes up again, a chip in Japan should be repaired in Japan, by the time it crosses the ocean with all the movement, stresses, and temperature changes that entails, the chip could easily become a large crack. This car is in Japan, I wanted her, prepared money for wire transfer, but the owner refused to sell.
