Ford Flex - Only 20 years behind the Delica

Post by The Pinkfingers »

New Ford Flex is here. http://www.fordclassic.ca/flex/

Two of the features they are making most prominent:
1. Refrigerated console!
2. Multi-panel vista roof!

Hmmm, where have I seen these before? :?

(And I bet their refrigerated console can't double as a heated console, so they STILL haven't caught up).

I laughed at that one at the auto show this year... it's more than twice the size of a delica, with half the interior space... they also still haven't figured out how to make a seat that rotates...

it's amazing how far behind north america is in auto design, 15 years ago Japan had the delica, some of the features are slowly creeping in to north american vehicles only now ("swivel and go seating" anyone?) and nobody yet has put all the features together...

Hey I just saw this Flex wagon a couple of weeks ago.
My first thought, give it some wood panelling and volia, Surfs Up!

For 60K you can get the Landrover with the cool box.
