Full Exhaust?

Post by rps13 »

Hello,

not sure if this has been covered in depth or not. Tried searching but didn't come up with any results.

After browsing around and seeing another member having the full SS 2.5" exhaust for sale it got me thinking. Though $800 is more then I'd like to spend on a exhaust I'd still like to make one.

I was thinking just 2.5" Straight back no resonator or muffler. Anyone done this? Even just getting the stock huge muffler taken out. Any benefits?

Any info helps!!

Thanks

My Fav, very grrrrr -

So what do you think? I like the fact I can keep an eye on whether or not i am blowing black smoke... and sounds like a real tractor.

I had a delica owner tell me he didn't like side exit exhausts because they were too loud, I promptly looked under his delica and noticed that he had no muffler... I informed him that that was more likely the cause of the loudness rather than the position of the tip... it was LOUD... I know I wouldn't want that... but who knows, some people seem to like the whole lack of hearing thing...
